Januar 2008: was zunächst als
Kartonmodell 1:10 enstanden ist, wurde nun in der richtigen Grösse
aus Pappel- und Birkensperrholz erstellt – 3.70 auf 0.60 Meter gross. Die Partie "Brunnenfluh" mit der Ausweiche in der Zahnstangenstrecke wird ein Blickfang – alleine schon wegen ihrer Position auf Augenhöhe. Am unteren Ende fehlen noch gut 2 Meter Zahnstangenstrecke, bis die Bahn den Talboden bei Meiringen erreichen wird. |
| January 2008: having made a 1:10 scale
cardboard model of the layout, the real layout segments have now been
fabricated from poplar and birch plywood – measuring 3.7 by 0.6 m.
The "Brunnenfluh" section of the layout with its passing station within
the rack section will become an eye-catcher, not only because of its
position at eye level. Approximately two more metres of rack section
need to be attached, until the railway line reaches the bottom of the
valley at Meiringen. |
