Luzern Bahnhof Luzern im Original

Luzern (436 m ü.M.) ist die Metropole der
Zentralschweiz und ein wichtiges Touristenziel.
Der Bahnhof ist recht gross und weist sehr
komplexe Gleisanlagen mit zwei Spurweiten auf.
In Luzern beginnen die beiden Schmalspurbahnen
SBB Brünigbahn und Luzern-Stans-Engelberg
LSE, welche bis Hergiswil, wo sie sich teilen die
gleiche Strecke benützen. In den Jahren
1971-1991 wurde der Bahnhof nach einem
Grossbrand komplett neu gebaut.

The railway station is rather extended and fea-
tures a complex railway with two different gau-
ges. In Lucerne the two narrow gauge railways
SBB Brünig and Lucerne-Stans-Engelberg LSE
start that are using the same tracks as far as
Hergiswil where they branch. During the years
1971 to 1991 the railway station was completely rebuilt after being demolished by a fire.

The model

Der Bahnhof Luzern im Modell ist als eine freie Zusammenstellung von Teilen der alten Brünig-Bahnanlagen (der alte Brünigbahnhof und das alte Depot) Luzerns mit einer minimalen Gleisanlage geplant. Haben Sie Bilder vom alten Bahnhof und Depot? Senden Sie mir bitte Scans davon (hohe Auflösung) via e-mail-Anlage, denn ich brauche möglichst viele Bilder zur Rekonstruktion der Gebäude.

The Lucerne railway station model is planned as a free composition of parts of the ancient Brünig railway stuctures (the old Brünig railway station building and the old depot) of Lucerne combined with a minimal railway. Have you got any pictures from the old station and depot? Please send me some scans of them (high resolution) as e-mail attachments if they are useful for the reconstruction of the structures.

erster Entwurf für die Gleise - first track plan

Diese Zeichnung ist mein erster Entwurf für die Gleisanlage meines Bahnhofs Luzern (bei mir nur Meterspur!). Sie ist minimal, sollte für den Betrieb jedoch völlig ausreichen. Durch die Verwendung einiger Engländer sowie einer Dreiwegweiche vor dem Depot kann viel Platz gespart werden.

This is my first sketch of the railway für my Lucerne station (only metre gauge here!). It is minimal, but it should be sufficient for operation. By using several double slips and tree-way points in front of the depot, much space can be saved.
